Frequently asked questions

How does the grading system work?
  • A+: Everything from a light Grade A up to Mint, merged into one tier. It doesn't mean indistinguishable from new. May carry a small pen mark or light scuffing, but nothing that affects flight or feel. No cuts, splits or heavy discolouration.
  • B: Light play marks, a club mark or visible discolouration. More than one pen mark is likely. A second-hand feel, but never a cut or a split cover. Perfect for the range or a casual round.
  • Why two grades, not three: The difference between "Mint" and "Grade A" is barely noticeable once you're playing, so we merge them into one A+ tier and keep grading simple and consistent.
  • Logos don't downgrade: A course or corporate logo on a ball is a factory mark, not play damage, so it doesn't affect the grade.

Our promise: anything cracked, waterlogged or scuffed beyond play does not make the cut.

A dozen Grade A+ Titleist golf balls, bright and clean
A+ Grade A+

Bright, clean, with the odd small pen mark.

A dozen Grade B Titleist golf balls, some marks and discolouration
B Grade B

Occasional discolouration, greater pen marks, more scuffs, but perfectly playable.

How do we source our balls?

Our second-hand golf balls are sourced locally from outside West Midlands golf courses and through deals with local golfers. Because of this, available quantities can vary by listing, so some only offer 12 rather than 24 or 48 depending on current stock.

How do we prepare our balls?

Every ball is hand-checked, and individually cleaned and packaged into eco-friendly Kraft boxes.

Do I pay for delivery?

No, delivery is free on every order and already built into the price you see, so there's nothing extra to pay at checkout. We currently post UK only, via tracked courier.
